Amy served on the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Connecticut Chapter board of directors as Director at Large in 2008-2010. She earned a design degree from the University of New Haven and previously a business degree from Western Connecticut. Amy is active in the Fairfield community and enjoyed participating in the fundraising event, Vines and Vignettes 2011. As an invited designer by the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival Amy's annual holiday decorations of the Burr Homestead help to benefit numerous local charities.
